RPC YAs in May...and June

Enjoying the Rain?

The Rainy Day
by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
The day is cold, and dark, and dreary
It rains, and the wind is never weary;
The vine still clings to the mouldering wall,
But at every gust the dead leaves fall,
And the day is dark and dreary.

My life is cold, and dark, and dreary;
It rains, and the wind is never weary;
My thoughts still cling to the mouldering Past,
But the hopes of youth fall thick in the blast,
And the days are dark and dreary.

Be still, sad heart! and cease repining;
Behind the clouds is the sun still shining;
Thy fate is the common fate of all,
Into each life some rain must fall,
Some days must be dark and dreary.

Looks like the majority of people can make the Guy's/Girl's  out on Saturday May the 23rd.
We've got a "Guy's RoadTrip" in the works - a trip to get some "Po-Boys", or some "Dirty Rice" or maybe even some Catfish Fingers". Yup, we're lookin' to do some eatin' at Cajun Kate's at the Booth's Corner Farmers Market down in Boothwyn PA. Then after - out to the movies - Maybe "Star Trek"?
The Girls would head to the Karl Abode - for a movie night and Chinese take-out! (Did someone say"chick-flick" nite?) Send movie recommendations!
Kimberly will be there to keep any young ones occupied.

Friday, May the 29th Pizza and Discussion -  "Being a Green Christian - What's that Mean?"

May 16th - is the MayFair!

June 6th is the Rock the Garden Event at RPC - Come out to help support/build the Roxborough Presbyterian Community Garden! You can sign up for a plot as well! It will be a fun day, filled with music, food, fellowship - (work too) and hopefully - YOU!

June's Discussion Topic will be "What's the 2nd Coming all about?"
Maybe a mid-week dinner and Discussion? Opinions?

Questions or Prayers - Let us know!
